I want to work things out with you,
I want to talk to you calmly without all the pressure, anger, sadness, screaming, yelling, and violence. I just want to fix things for once because I’m tired of this routine. I’m tired of hurting myself and I’m tired of seeing you hurt. I just want everything to be okay between us and reach a compromise we both can agree on. I love you too much to let you go, but sometimes I just need you to understand.
I hate the feeling you get before you cry.
You can see the tears starting to form in your eyes. Your throat gets that sore throat feeling. You have to control your breathing. Your cheeks start to get a little pink. At that point, you have to decide whether or not you should cry. Because once a person asks what’s wrong, you know the tears are going to start flowing and there’s no way to stop it from happening.
